A. We charge by user, not by server, so you can optimize your repository infrastructure no matter how many servers that might require. Unlike other repository managers that price based on servers - whether it is in active use or not: production, test, staging, even reserve servers - our pricing based on value received by actual users. When modeling out a server-based price structure compared to our user-based structure – our customers find the user-based model most cost effective and the best for optimizing their environments.
All licenses allow for an unlimited number of installs to be deployed, regardless of specific use so you can architect your repository manager to your needs. For example, we do not charge for multiple repository instances (taking advantage of Smart Proxy), HA environments, "hot-swap" servers or CI servers.
